Hey Confident Ladies!!
This week we are talking Faith + "Serving Others". As many of you know I am a Christian and although I do need to earn a living and pay the bills, my belief is to ALWAYS serve.
We all know that not everyone will be able to work 1:1 with us, so how will you serve the others who also need to hear from you? For me, this group is one way that I do that. I strive to provide HIGH value for ALL the women who join. I also create freebie workbooks, host freebie masterclasses, run giveaways, and offer free sessions from time to time to give back.
When your heart comes from a place of serving, abundance will ALWAYS flow through. Since I launched my business in October 2015, I have done at least 100+ free calls. Doing these calls has been a blessing for ME. They have helped me understand the women that I serve, given me ideas for content, and at least a couple dozen of them even become paying clients WITHOUT me even pitching to them. Many of these have also turned into incredible opportunities/collaborations.
I know this may sound a little woo-woo to some of you, but I always say I serve a BIG God. And when you LEAD with a heart of GIVING, nothing BUT Abundance will flow freely through your life.
Wondering how you can lead with a heart of serving others and serving your clients?
Here is a tip: Evaluate how you can give more VALUE to those around you, not JUST your clients.
So often I see business owners pitching themselves in groups. Now I will be honest, I'm sure I did this in the beginning of my business and early on navigating the online world. When you are new to all of this, you may not be aware of the rules in groups and that cold pitching is generally the most INEFFECTIVE way to get someone to buy from you.
But don't get me wrong, pitching is necessary at times, just not ALL the time. What is NECESSARY is consistently providing VALUE (aka content + feedback) and showing AUTHENTICITY. THIS is how you will sell out your product or book up your 1:1 services.
What are your intentions when you enter the online space? Do you pitch and run? Or do you take some time to provide value to others and allow the value to sell you? I want to challenge each of you to provide value somewhere in the online space. You never know how this could impact someone.
Recently I listened to an old sermon from Hillsong NYC entitled "Stir it Up" and this message goes perfectly with our topic of serving. Pastor Carl Lentz talks about this concept of "Circulation".
Here are a few of the key and POWERFUL nuggets of wisdom:
++Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." Luke 6:38++
// When goodness flows through you, make sure you share with others.
// Whatever the thing is that you want, should be the thing that you are giving.
// If you want someone to encourage you, you need to be encouraging others.
// Whatever you DESIRE, you need to GIVE.
// God has done this for me, so he can do this for you.
// God has given this to me, so I will give to you.
// If you want it, go give it.
// If you want blessing, bless others.
// Maybe someone has let you down, so you've stopped giving…... but DON'T
